Vehicle Registration

  2. Original APV9T Transfer and Registration are located at GCSurplus Langley Sales Centre Office (5370 - 271st Street, Langley, B.C. V4W 3Y7).
    • APV9T and registrations will be mailed to the buyer once they contact us for required information.
  3. Be sure to bid under the name that will appear on the registration.
  4. If this is a company purchase, register your company with GCSurplus and be sure to bid under the company's name.

Pick-up

  1. A Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) purchased in the province of B.C. displaying the VIN is required for out-of-province (B.C.) buyers picking up and driving the vehicle.
  2. Pick-ups can only be done by the buyer or an authorized third party.
  3. All pick-ups by a third party or transport require a completed bill of lading and a signed authority to release to be sent to GCSurplus prior to sending the third party or transport.
  4. Curbside Pick-up:
    • Appointments to pick up are mandatory, no exceptions.
    • Buyers without appointments will be turned away.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
