How GCSurplus Auctions Work
A government department, agency, or public organization declares an item surplus.
A GCSurplus sales representative works with the department, agency, or public organization to create an auction listing.
GCSurplus posts the auction on
gcsurplus.ca
.
The general public and businesses browse items posted for sale.
Registered users bid on the items they’re interested in. The highest bid wins!
GCSurplus publishes the winning price online.
GCSurplus emails the successful bidder an invoice, payment instructions, and removal deadline.
Winning bidder takes possession of their purchase.
