Inspection and Pick-up

  1. No shipping is available for this item and it must be picked up at the location by the successful bidder or their authorized representative.
  2. Please contact Peter Beaudoin at 204-983-5104 or at fwi-shipping@dfo-mpo.gc.ca, 24 hours in advance, for viewing or pick-up appointments between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
  3. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to arrange for the removal of the item.
  4. Viewing is recommended.
  5. The buyer has 5 days from the date of payment to remove the items.
  6. Twenty-four hours' notice is required for viewing and pick up of items.
  7. Appointments to pick up are mandatory no exception.
  8. Buyers without appointments will be turned away.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
