  • Temperature Range: The tests must be stored and transported in the ambient temperature between 2° C and 30 °C.

    • Expiry date: 2023-09-07
      • Expiry date has been extended to 2024-07-07 as per Health Canada.
      • Note: The expiration date on the label affixed to the case(s) of the BTNX tests (COV-19CSHC5) does not always reflect the actual expiry date. This is due to shelf life extensions that are frequently issued after a test has been manufactured and/or distributed. You may consult Health Canada's webpage, List of authorized testing devices, to find the most up-to-date approved shelf life.

Inspection and Removal:

  1. Test kits are being offered at no cost however shipping costs (if applicable) will apply.
  2. Appointments for viewing and pick-up are available Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EST). To schedule an appointment please contact the Sales Representative or GCSurplus Ontario Mailbox (information can be found in Location and Contacts tab).
  3. Visitors without appointments may be turned away.
  4. All pick-ups by a third party or transport company require written authorization from the buyer and are to be emailed to GCSurplus prior to sending the third party or transport.
    • GCSurplus cannot complete any shipping documents for the buyer, their representative, or shipper.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
