Please read the following instructions carefully:

  2. Pick-ups are by appointment only, from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please allow at least 2 days for an appointment to be approved.

  3. Please also note that access to the goods will be denied for buyers without an appointment.

  4. Once the arrangements are made with the contact person, the buyer may take possession of the goods either in person, by a third party, or by a carrier. If a carrier is the chosen option, the buyer must prepare all shipping documents and send them to us prior to the pick-up.
  5. Due to the limited availability of manpower, no viewing of the goods will be permitted before the pick-up.

Inspection and Pick-up

  1. The buyer will have to comply with the guidelines described below. These will vary from one location to another and will be communicated to the buyer at the time of the appointment.

Please read the following instructions carefully:

  1. No packaging or shipping can be carried out, the buyer must come to pick up the goods. No handling devices and no assistance can be provided during pick-up, the buyer must provide the necessary labour and equipment.
  2. You must allow at least 2 days for the approval of an appointment, the pick-up of a property or vehicle will only be possible by appointment, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please contact Jordan Albert at 418-570-7342 or by email at DFO.QUECFOMM-GMDPFQUE.MPO@dfo-mpo.gc.ca. Please note that access to the base and equipment will be denied without an appointment having been made and approved in advance.
  3. Once the necessary arrangements have been made with the custodian of the equipment, the purchaser may take possession of the goods or vehicle either in person, by a third party or by a carrier, as agreed upon. If this option is chosen, the purchaser will need to prepare all the required shipping documents and send them to us in advance for approval of the appointment.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
