Sale and exportation

  1. These vehicles were built and certified for a non-Canadian market and are sold for export only. They cannot be registered or resold in Canada. Proof of export will be required.
  2. These vehicles must be picked up at a GCSurplus Warehouse location by a Bonded Carrier who must provide relevant documentation indicating destination to a location outside of Canada.
  3. Once payment is completed, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) will issue a Bill of Sale to the Purchaser who will then have 30 calendar days from the date indicated on the Bill of Sale to comply with the Export requirement. If the Purchaser fails to export the vehicle within this prescribed period, PSPC reserves the right to cancel the sale, forfeit the ownership and refund the payment of sale less an administration fee and damages caused by the sale cancellation.

Inspection and Pick-up

  1. No shipping is available for this item and it must be picked up at the location by the successful bidder or their authorized representative.
  2. 24 hours notice is required for the pick-up of items by appointment only.
  3. Please call GCSurplus at 306-780-5532 or pwgsc.gcsurplus.sk.tpsgc@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca to arrange pick-up appointments between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
  4. This vehicle is sold used, without mechanical inspection and may require unknown repairs.
  5. The Buyer is responsible for making all transportation arrangements and for all costs incurred.
  6. All pickups by a third party or transport require a completed bill of lading and a signed authority to release to be sent to GCSurplus prior to sending the third party or transport.
  7. This vehicle will need to be towed from site (on flat bed).

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
