    • The hood is bent
    • Headlight on drivers' side is broken
    • Fender on drivers' side is damaged and keeps driver's door to open completely
    • Front bumper is cracked
    • Front grille was placed in the trunk
    • Big dent on driver's door
  • Tire pressure light is on in the dash
  • No repair estimate was provided by the client department
  • Vehicle's ownership reads "Salvage"
  • The vehicle starts and move but is not in a driveable state, the buyer will have to tow this vehicle.
  • Vehicle is being sold for parts only. Clause 844.1 still applies.

  • Note 1: This vehicle is sold used, without mechanical inspection, and may require unknown repairs. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the vehicle may require after purchase.
  • Note 2: All GCSurplus vehicles start and drive unless specified otherwise in the known issues above.
  • Note 3: Due to the cold weather, the battery(ies) may be dead by the time the vehicle is sold. It will be the buyer's responsibility to replace the battery(ies) if it does happen.
Additional comments:

This was a Federal Government fleet vehicle.

  1. Appointments for inspections and pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 3:30pm, except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. The Purchaser must comply with the security requirements put in place for COVID-19, which includes wearing a face mask.
  5. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the sales representative giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.

Important:

  1. Please contact GCSurplus if new restrictions for Covid-19 that may affect the removal of your lot are put in place.
  2. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  3. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we will release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
  4. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick-up on their behalf, he must give a 24 hour notice to the sales representative by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  5. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, first point of confirmation of pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  6. Invoices & Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
