  3. Pickups will be contactless. Visitors will not be permitted entry to the GCSurplus Warehouse.

Contactless Pickup:

  1. Appointments must be made for pick-ups at least 24 hours in advance. There will be no exceptions.
  2. Appointments for pick-ups are available Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  3. To schedule a pickup appointment:

  4. Upon arrival for pickups, buyers must park in one of the marked stalls, wait in their vehicle and call 780-497-3627 for further instruction.
  5. Buyers without appointments will be turned away.
  6. The Buyer is responsible for making all transportation arrangements and for all costs incurred.
  7. All pickups by a third party or transport require written authorization from the Buyer emailed to GCSurplus at GU-ONGCE@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca prior to sending the third party or transport. Transport pickups also require a completed bill of lading emailed prior to the pickup.

Payment:

The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

844.1

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

874.3

Ex-law enforcement vehicle and/or Vehicle forfeited under the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act - Vehicle may have come into contact with potentially harmful substances. Prior to being posted for sale, the interior of the vehicle has been treated with electrostatic spray disinfection and/or disinfection of high touch areas.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
