Viewing and Pick-up:

  1. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance for pick-ups. There will be no exceptions.
  2. Buyers without appointments will be turned away.
  3. Appointments for pick-up are available Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
  4. Pick-ups will be contactless. Contact Heath Ferguson at 780-495-6003 or at heath.ferguson@ec.gc.ca for appointments.
  5. The buyer is responsible for making their own arrangements for packaging, loading and picking up the item.
  6. Safety footwear is required where heavy items are being handled (furniture, tires, etc.).
  7. If a forklift is required for assistance in loading/handling, the operator is not responsible for any damage to the item(s) or the vehicle.
  8. All pick-ups by a third party require a signed Authority to Release to be sent to the contact listed in the sale prior to pick-ups.
  9. If sending a transport company, a completed Bill of Lading is also required to be emailed to the contact listed on the sale prior to pick-ups.
  10. Certain requirements exist for pick-ups by transport companies. Contact Heath Ferguson prior to bidding to ensure 3rd party pick-up instructions are understood.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
