1992 Golden Falcon 230 XLT Travel Trailer - For Scrap/Parts Only

  • Length: 24 ft
  • Weight: 1,680 kg
  • No bed cushions or sleeping configurations currently installed.
  • Generator is inoperable as it is not connected, and the overall condition of generator is unknown.
  • No electrical is functioning in the trailer and it will need a complete overhaul as most wires have been cut.
  • There is considerable water damage all along the left of the trailer. The ceilings and walls are all water damaged and the floor is damaged where it meets the walls on the left. The leak appears to be coming from the hole at the front left corner. The wall is almost completely detached from the trailer.
  • The awning is not functional due to structural damage.
  • There are 2 slides, one on the front and one at the back. The front one is damaged and suspected to be beyond repair.
  • The main door doesn't close properly, the bottom left of the door gets jammed and needs considerable maneuvering to close.
  • The screen door is damaged at the bottom and is missing the handle and part of the screen.
  • There are two benches which can hold a total of 4 people. Both benches include cushions.
  • No towing lights are operational.
  • Trailer hitch is extremely corroded, but assumed to still be functional.
  • Keys are provided for all locks, and all locks appear to be functioning.
  • Tires are original to the trailer.

  • This unit is being sold in used, as-is condition for scrap/parts only.
  • This unit will need to be placed on a flatbed in order to remove it from the client site as it is not deemed to be road safe.

This was a Federal Government fleet trailer.

  1. Appointments for pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.

  3. Appointments to view and pick-ups are mandatory, no exceptions.
  4. The purchaser must contact the custodian and make an appointment for a specific date and time so they can meet onsite. Any appointment cancellation must be done in the 24 hours prior to the appointment date.
  5. Inspection and pick-ups are done during the weekdays from Monday to Friday. The exact time has to be discussed with the custodian.
  6. Purchasers who arrive unprepared may be refused.

Important:

  1. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  2. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
  3. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick up on their behalf, he must give a 24-hour notice to the sales representative by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  4. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, the first point of confirmation of the pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  5. Invoices & Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
