Known Issues:

  • Scratches, paint chips, dents and rust spots.
  • This vehicle was used for compressed natural gas system testing.
  • There were tie wraps on the hood used to keep it closed, they were removed to take pictures.
  • 12 V battery replacement is recommended.
  • The interior is a bit dirty, it has small stains on the seat.
  • Driver seat is powered by air to go up and down and for lumbar support.
  • The centre console is dirty and has scratches.
  • Truck is powered by natural gas.
  • Passenger side step is dented.
  • Back mast is rusty.
  • Small spots of rust where the goose neck is attached.
  • Foil in the passenger window.
  • We are unable to place the vehicle on a hoist, the undercarriage was not visually inspected.

  • Note 1: This vehicle is sold used, without mechanical inspection, and may require unknown repairs. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the vehicle may require after purchase.
  • Note 2: All GCSurplus vehicles start and drive unless specified otherwise in the known issues above.
  • Note 3: Please be aware that some vehicles have been stationary for unknown periods of time, and although the vehicle may initially start on arrival with or without a boost, it may require a boost or battery replacement at the time of possession at the buyers cost.
Additional comments:

This was a Transport Canada test vehicle.

  1. Appointments for inspections and pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the sales representative giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.

Important:

  1. Please contact GCSurplus if new restrictions for Covid-19 that may affect the removal of your lot are put in place.
  2. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  3. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
  4. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick up on their behalf, he must give a 24-hour notice to the sales representative by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  5. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, the first point of confirmation of the pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  6. Invoices and Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
