  • Client department declared that the last known mileage before the accident happened was 167,227km. Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm if this information is still accurate since the battery is disconnected.
  • The ownership status currently states "FIT" but due to the excessive damages, this vehicle is being sold for parts.

Known Issues:

  • This vehicle was involved in a collision on November 2023. It sustained a large amount of damages to the right side of the vehicle. The vehicle has not been repaired.
  • Trunk is inoperable; spare tire and battery are there but not accessible. The battery has been disconnected since the accident.
  • Vehicle does not start because of the damages and the disconnected battery.
  • 4 airbags were deployed during the accident.
  • Client department declares a mechanical inspection was conducted in October 2023 and the dealership declared that the drive belt was cracking and the brake lines are very corroded but not leaking at the moment.
  • This vehicle is not in a driveable state and the purchaser will have to tow this vehicle.

  • Note 1: This vehicle is sold used without mechanical inspection; it may require unknown repairs. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the vehicle may require after purchase.
  • Note 2: We are unable to place the vehicle on a hoist, the undercarriage was not visually inspected.
Additional comments:

This was a Federal Government fleet vehicle.

  1. Appointments for inspections and pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 3:30pm, except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the sales representative giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.

Important:

  1. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  2. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we will release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
  3. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick-up on their behalf, he must give a 24 hour notice to the sales representative by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  4. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, first point of confirmation of pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  5. Invoices & Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
