Vehicle Registration

  1. This vehicle is registered in the Province of Manitoba.
  2. This vehicle has never been previously registered in the Province of British Columbia.
  3. Buyer will receive a signed ICBC Transfer Form (APV9T), a signed Bill of Sale and the Manitoba Vehicle Registration Certificate.
    • All documents will be mailed to the buyer.
    • A BC Provincial Vehicle Safety Inspection will be required prior to registering this vehicle

Pick-up

  1. A Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) purchased in the Province of B.C., displaying the VIN is required for out-of-province (B.C.) buyers picking up and driving the vehicle.

  7. Pick-up only by the buyer or authorized third party.
    • All pick-ups by a third party require a signed Authority to Release to be sent to the "Contact" listed in the sale prior to releasing. If sending a Transport Company a completed Bill of Lading is also required to be sent to the "Contact."

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

844.1

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
859.2

This emergency response vehicle has not been decommissioned and is being sold as an ambulance and/or an emergency response vehicle. In its current condition, it may be restricted in some provinces or municipalities and may require modifications prior to being registered. The Purchaser agrees to accept all responsibility to research local licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable provincial or municipal transportation laws and regulations. The purchaser must provide proof to the satisfaction of GCSurplus demonstrating that they can register and use the vehicle as an ambulance or an emergency vehicle before the sale is awarded to them. Vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections. No exceptions will be allowed.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.

Sale of the firefighting equipment described herein is restricted to persons, companies or organizations authorized and/or certified to refurbish and/or re-sell them.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
