Vehicle Registration

  1. The trailer is registered in the Province of Manitoba.
  2. This trailer has never been previously registered in the Province of British Columbia.
  3. Buyer will receive a signed ICBC Transfer Form (APV9T), a Bill of Sale and Manitoba vehicle registration certificate.
    • All documents will be mailed to the buyer.
    • A BC Provincial vehicle safety inspection will need to be perform prior to registration.
  4. Be sure to bid under the name that will appear on the registration.
  5. If this is a company purchase, register your company with GCSurplus and be sure to bid under the company's name.

Pick-up

  1. A Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) purchased in the province of B.C., displaying the VIN is required for out-of-province (British Columbia) buyers picking up and driving the trailer.
  2. This trailer is sold used, without mechanical inspection and may require unknown repairs.

  4. Curbside Pick-up:
    • Appointments to pick up are mandatory, no exceptions.
    • Buyers without appointments will be turned away.
  5. Pick-up times Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., except on holidays.
  6. The buyer is responsible for making all transportation arrangements and for all costs incurred.
  7. Pick-up only by the buyer or authorized third party.
    • All pick-ups by a third party require a signed Authority to Release to be sent to the "Contact" listed in the sale prior to releasing. If sending a Transport Company a completed Bill of Lading is also required to be sent to the "Contact."
  8. This trailer will need to be towed from the site.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
