GCSurplus is pleased to announce that the GCDonate platform, our latest divestment service, has been revamped with new functionalities.
GCDonate is GCSurplus’ online platform designed to advertise Government of Canada surplus moveable assets available for donation.
The new and improved platform will facilitate the donation process for government departments and agencies, making it easier to donate surplus moveable assets to designated eligible groups and organizations. If you identify with any of the following groups or organizations, you may become eligible to receive donations via GCDonate:
- Charitable or non-profit organizations;
- The United Nations;
- Treaty organizations of which Canada is a member;
- Other national governments;
- Indigenous Peoples (groups/communities/institutions);
- Other levels of government in Canada.
Please click on request to register today to complete your application; a GCSurplus representative will review your request to ensure your organization is eligible. Once approved, your organization will be able to start requesting items that are available for donation while supplies last.
