Used Sheldon Anaerobic Chamber

  • Model: Bactron I

  • Serial number: 02069409
  • Anaerobic environment system (approx. 14 cu. ft. volume) with airlock (approx. 0.6 cu. ft.) and incubator. Designed to control atmospheric conditions for growing oxygen-sensitive microorganisms.
  • Includes:
    • Bactron I chamber with 3-compartment incubator, 2-arm doors, external pump, foot pedals and light fixture
  • Not included:
    • Gas regulator, catalyst cartridges, glass bottle for manometer, petri plate holder, sleeve/brassard assembly, stand
  • Note:
    • The unit has not been used for a long time, so we cannot guarantee that it will work. In addition, the unit is discontinued, so replacement parts are unobtainable.

Inspection and Pick-up

  1. Inspection and pick-up appointments are mandatory. No exception will be made.

  3. Buyer must provide an appropriate vehicle and labour for the pick-up. The custodian will not provide any assistance during the pick-up/removal.
  4. No assistance or loan of equipment will be available on the site.
  5. Buyers who arrive unprepared will be denied access to the items.
  6. All third party people sent by the buyer to pick up a lot must have the Authority to Release signed by the buyer in order to pick up the lot.
  7. The Department disclaims all liability in the event of an incident or accident that may occur to the user (or any other person accompanying him) as well as to his vehicle/trailer during loading material.
  8. The buyer will have to comply with the directives and preventive measures related to COVID-19 specific to the site where the lot is located, these varying from place to place.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
