The following are period contracts available to provide services to GCSurplus for divestment services at various Government of Canada locations. Period contracts are an efficient method of divesting large amounts of marketable waste products such as scrap metal, batteries, and oil for a specific period of time (for example: 1 year).

Period contracts are awarded through a competitive bidding process. The winning Contract holder provides the services as described in the listing and pays the Receiver General for Canada - GCSurplus for the materiel.
Policies regarding controlled goods, security, information management, and hazardous materiel apply to all assets, including materiel divested through a period contract.
