Contactless Pick-up:

  1. Appointments must be made for pick-ups at least 24 hours in advance. There will be no exceptions.
  2. Buyers without appointments will be turned away.
  3. Appointments for pick-ups are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.

  5. Upon arrival for pick-ups, buyers must park and wait in their vehicle and call for further instruction.

  7. All pick-ups by a third party or transport require written authorization from the Buyer emailed to tamsin.hatch@forces.gc.ca prior to sending the third party or transport.
  8. Transport pick-ups also require a completed bill of lading emailed prior to pick-up. Entry to the base will not be permitted otherwise
  9. The purchaser must come equipped and prepared with proper equipment and staff/help to pick up the lot.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

844.1

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

860.2

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
