  1. Appointments for pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, inspections may not be permitted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 3:30pm, except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. The Purchaser must comply with the security requirements put in place for COVID-19, which includes wearing a face mask.
  5. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the sales representative giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.
  6. Purchaser must come equipped and prepared with proper equipment to pick up the lot from this location, example: dollies, carts, vehicle and/or trucks, as well as proper amount of staff/help for the removal.
  7. Purchasers who arrive unprepared will be refused.

Important:

  1. Please contact GCSurplus if new restrictions for COVID-19 that may affect the removal of your lot are put in place.
  2. GCSurplus is not offering shipping services for this item/lot.
  3. If the buyer wants to send a transport company or a courier to pick-up on their behalf, we can provide the weight and dimensions of the item/lot upon request, but it is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for shipping.
  4. GCSurplus does not fill out waybills (bill of ladings) and does not allow "Collect" shipment, only prepaid shipping will be authorized. It is the buyer's responsibility to send us a pre-paid and pre-filled waybill (bill of lading) prior to sending the transporter or courier for pick-up. GCSurplus will not release the item/lot to the transporter or courier until the correct documentation is provided.
  5. Please note that we will do our best to secure the item/lot on a skid or box but we will not be liable for any damages resulting from this courtesy service.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

875.1

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
